At SLH Wellness & Management LLC, our mission is to transform organizations, healthcare systems, and communities by using wellness and agility as a strategic solution. We combine agile thinking, administrative excellence, and culturally responsive approaches to solve complex problems in leadership, corporate culture, and maternal-fetal health. Through innovative wellness strategies, digital health tools, and system-level interventions, we empower people and institutions to lead, heal, and thrive.
A Wellness Strategist Transforming Systems Through Agility
I bring the best of three worlds to the table—clinical care, healthcare management, and lived patient experience. These three dimensions have shaped not only who I am but also how I lead transformative work through SLH Wellness & Management LLC, where I merge my top professional expertise: administration, agility and wellness.
My mission is to use wellness and agility as a problem-solving strategy—in leadership, maternal health, and across communities. I approach every challenge with agile thinking, and I build solutions that are iterative, responsive, and deeply human-centered.
1. The Clinician – Grounded in Care
I began my career as a behavioral health clinician, witnessing how untreated trauma, poor systems, and lack of early intervention impacted lives. That foundation taught me the critical importance of addressing root causes—not just symptoms—whether in mental health, maternal care, or organizational culture.
2. The Healthcare Manager – Systems-Level Change Agent
In my leadership roles I led initiatives in workforce development, policy design, and cross-department collaboration. I learned firsthand how inefficient systems, poor communication, and burnout cripple impact—and how agile leadership can unlock momentum and create healthier organizations from the inside out.
3. The Patient & Advocate – Turning Pain Into Innovation
My own battles with miscarriage and ovarian cancer revealed glaring cracks in the system. As a patient, I saw what happens when care is reactive instead of proactive, fragmented instead of whole. Rather than be defeated, I became determined to innovate.
Through SLH Wellness & Management, I now offer:
A corporate wellness strategy rooted in Agile Thinking, starting with leadership teams. My book, Think Like a Manager, was written to support this transformation, and I’ve developed a comprehensive leadership wellness training program to guide organizations in embedding wellness as a leadership competency—not just a benefit.
A solution to the maternal-fetal health crisis in America, developed out of both personal experience and professional insight. I created MaternaCare, a new model of maternal care that includes mobile health clinics, digital health technology, and a culturally-informed app to support women’s physical, emotional, educational, holistic, and cultural needs.
